Food , love and an open mind bring the world and people together

This page is dedicated to the late, great Anthony Bourdain. I never met Mr. Bourdain but I believe he did his best to show the world that hate has no place in the global economy. As someone who loves to travel, explore and learn I believe good can be found anywhere if you look hard enough. I want my supporters and followers to know I will fight for you. Please fight for yourself, it may be lonely, it may be hard, it may dark at times but in order to survive you must be willing to try. You must be strong, resilient and make your opinion known with your dollars because that is the only true tool, "We The People" have that compel the powerful and wealthy to hear us.

South Korea

A picture of my Band-Aid in South Korea.
I cut my finger on an umbrella and the super sweet ladies in the store came to my immediate aid and put neosporin and a band-aid on my figure for me even though I didn't buy anything. They were so warm and caring I felt terrible for not buying anything because I was too embarrassed after bleeding all over their store. I hope someone makes it up for me. All I know the store was on the left side somewhere near that big KB Building.

Could be down this street too. I can't remember because this was a last minute hopper flight decision and we were not dressed or prepared for the fridge cold temperatures we encountered.

A big THANK YOU to the young man who helped me with Train Tickets @ the train station and to the beautiful lady who let me out of the stall when my ticket wouldn't let me out.

A big Thank you to whoever invented those awesome heated toilet seats, Love them, wish I had one!

SPAIN

Where do I begin? So many kindnesses, so many people to thank.

Barcelona

I need to start by thanking the women who helped me the most last. Elizabeth at the Tryp Barcelona Aeropuerto Hotel. She was a lifesaver.

For Elizabeth in English: Thanks for saving us. We are very grateful to you for helping us by asking the kitchen staff to make a bland chicken soup for us.

In Español for Elizabeth:

Mallorca

Dr. Marcos Zamora Gonzalez & Dr. Hugo Ortega

Thank you for your help and service. We probably wouldn't have made it home if it had not been for the both of you. I hope your island receives more funding for medical services not only for those living on the island but also for the unexpected emergencies that can arise for tourists like us. I hope the CEO's of the large hotels on Mallorca consider their worker's health and that of their clients and the community at large when planning their budgets for 2020. This is why I believe board diversity is necessary and so is Socioeconomic diversity in the C-suite. Know your Clients.  #Boarddiversity #SocioeconomicC-Suite #Knowyourclients

In Español:

Dr. Marcos Zamora Gonzalez and Dr. Hugo Ortega,

#Boarddiversity # SocioeconomicC-Suite #Knowyourclients

Aranda De Duero, Burgos: Rafael Casa Florencio

Address: Calle Isilla, 14, 09400 Aranda de Duero, Burgos, Spain

Rafael: You know this is long overdue. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I tried to go back twice to thank you again for your generosity and kindness but circumstances beyond my control got in the way. I hope this makes up for it a little.

If anyone reading this decides to visit Aranda De Duero, I hope you will make a side trip to Casa Florencio for a meal. I had the best Jamon in my life there and my entire meal was a delight. If you are lucky, (and kind) Rafael might even give you a tour of the underground caves. Super cool experience!

In Español:
